Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) is running an online training and job placement program for students. In the program, students will do self-paced upskilling courses and submit assignment online. After completion, they would receive a digital certificate from the university which proved their attendance and success. An integrated tracking and digital certification issuing system is needed for this purpose.
Bridgespace worked with the university in building an online learning tracking system, which allows the university to see student’s learning progress and various metrics (e.g. attendance rate, online time etc.) in real time. Instructors are able to leverage the tool to identify students who are lagging behind and provide assistance in time.
The digital certification issuing system allows the team to manage the certification issuing and validation process automatically. Students can share their certificates on social media with an auto-generated and verifiable link to showcase their skills and progress.
